We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our South Sioux City, NE location.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing quality assurance testing to ensure that products meet or exceed customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
Gathers samples and analyzes finished product with respect to customer specifications and HACCP requirementsIdentifies any non-conforming product and food safety issuesand assists in theinvestigation of issues and recommendationCompletes multiple quality analysis tests.
Communicates with operations staff regarding product quality and warehouse staff regarding approval details and lot codingMaintains accurate documentation of analyzed product responsible for product approvalsto ensure top quality products are shipped to customersPrepares marketing samples for shipment, making sure all information is properly labelled and carefully packed to avoid product damageMaintains a working knowledge of the milling process, tests and equipment, and general laboratory operationsOperates in accordance with health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practicesPerforms other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalentComputer proficiency in Windows, Word and Excel is requiredExperience in a quality assurance testing is considered an assetRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
