Multi-Physician Family Practice experience preferred. Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus. Current RN or LPN licensure. Current BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Solid computer skills. Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
Contact insurance companies for preauthorization/ precertification approvals for doctor visits, procedures, diagnostic test, etc. Maintain detailed records in the EMR of all preauthorization activities. Schedule appointments and make referrals. Communicate and document provider's orders. Other nursing duties to be assigned as determined by nursing license.
